Today KOO celebrated World Food Day with South Africa’s first edible billboard in Soweto.
We arrived at Dobsonville Mall in Soweto this morning to queues of people. For the past two weeks the Dobsonville community has been buzzing because of KOO’s billboard asking whether a billboard can change lives and telling them that all would be revealed today. Then last night, a special frame around the existing billboard was filled with 2106 KOO cans which formed the shape of their renowned logo. The cans were then distributed this morning to the people queuing.
KOO feels privileged to help feed the nation on World Food Day – a day that brings home the real nutritional challenges a large part of our country face on a daily basis. No woman, child or family should go to bed hungry and with the help of this edible billboard campaign, KOO will be doing their best to alleviate this plight.
