We all know that I’m great at starting out going full steam ahead and then fizzling out before I’ve made exercising a habit. My need for perfection and wanting results right away causes me to be my own worst enemy. I mean…I can feel that a run or a NikeTrainingClub workout does something, but it doesn’t right my body-wrongs quick enough. So when I saw an exercise program for beginners on Pinterest the other day, it caught my attention…and in a big way!
It starts off with a few jumping jacks and crunches. How hard can that be right?! Apparently it can be that hard on your body! Particularly when it’s my body which hasn’t seen much exercise unless it’s to walk to the pantry to reach for some cookies.
I feel though that the program is easy enough and quick enough that I will follow it every day. I don’t even need to be dressed to do it (well besides a good bra) so that makes it easy to do before my bath every night.
I’ve included the beginner’s program below if you too would like to start somewhere. And if you do, let me know and keep me updated as to how it’s working for you. Once I’ve finished this 20 day challenge, I’ll post the next challenge.
