Book Worm

I bought these books mid-September from a Bargain Bin at a book store at Lifestyle Centre. I paid all of R50.00 for them and boy was that money well spent! I read the one book in a day. (Yes, it was that good!) And the other book took me about a week to read as I was only reading a chapter or two (or four) before bed. Yes they were both romance books. And no, you’re not allowed to judge me!

After reading these two I took a short walk to where my own library seems to be forming (colour-coded as per the Husband’s request and not organised by author which was mine) and took a book out the white section. It is the modern-day retelling of the classic Jane Austen book “Emma” and I’m loving it so far.

I’m not quite sure why I took a hiatus from reading for so long considering I love reading. Perhaps I used the lame excuse that I was too busy or too tired to read. Perhaps I just didn’t find the right book at the time. Either which way I’m back to being the book worm I was known for growing up.

Read anything interesting lately?

  1. I’ve rediscovered my love for John Grisham books… and finding 1970’s crafting books at secondhand stores.
